How to Use Your Push-Up Paper Tube
Push gently: Press your index finger gently against the bottom disc to expose a tiny amount of balm.
Less is more: Only push up 1–2 mm. Unlike plastic, paper tubes cannot roll back down.
Warm and apply: Hold the balm to your lips for a second to warm the natural oils, then glide.
Tap to recess: If you push up too much, gently tap the tube base on a hard, flat surface.
Store safely: Keep your balm in a cool, dry place away from direct, intense sunlight.
Return to earth: Once empty, toss the vegetable wax-lined kraft tube into your compost bin.
Directions
Apply directly to clean lips as needed throughout the day for moisture and protection. Contains essential oils. Kindly perform a patch test on your elbow before using the product to ensure no allergy reactions. Discontinue use if irritation occurs. External use only.
1. How do I push the balm up?
Press your finger or thumb gently against the cardboard disc at the bottom of the tube until a tiny amount of balm emerges.
2. Can I roll the balm back down?
No, paper tubes do not have a wind-down mechanism. Only push up 1–2 mm at a time. If you push up too much, gently tap the bottom of the tube on a flat, hard surface.
3. Will the paper tube get soggy or greasy?
No. The tube is lined with a natural, protective vegetable wax that keeps the paper sturdy, dry, and clean throughout its use.
4. Will it melt in hot weather?
Because it is 100% natural and free from synthetic hardeners, it will soften in extreme heat. Store it in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight.
5. What is the shelf life of this balm?
Your balm is fresh and best used within 12 months of opening. We use Vitamin E as a natural antioxidant to help keep the plant oils fresh.
6. Is the packaging truly compostable?
Yes. The entire tube—including the kraft paper, vegetable wax lining, and outer inks—is 100% biodegradable and backyard compostable.
7. Is this lip balm vegan?
No. This specific formula contains pure, natural beeswax to create a protective barrier against sea salt and wind.
