Terms and Conditions
Last updated: 26 August 2026
Welcome to The Wild Swells!
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of The Wild Swells website, located at https://thewildswells.com, including purchases of Rewild products, bookings for The Wild Swells workshops, activities, experiences and events, and any other services offered through our website.
By accessing our website, placing an order, making a booking or otherwise using our services, you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully before making a purchase or booking.
If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use the website, purchase our products or book our services.
1. About The Wild Swells
The Wild Swells is a Singapore-based ocean-inspired lifestyle and sustainability platform.
Through Rewild, we create and offer small-batch personal-care and lifestyle products inspired by nature, the ocean and outdoor living.
The Wild Swells also organises workshops, sustainability programmes, experiences and other activities, which may include upcycling workshops, environmental programmes, Eco Paddle sessions and other land- or water-based activities.
Throughout these Terms, “The Wild Swells”, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to the business operating this website and its associated Rewild brand.
“You”, “your” and “customer” refer to any person who accesses our website, purchases a product or books an activity or service.
2. Use of Our Website
You agree to use our website only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not infringe the rights of, restrict or interfere with the use of the website by another person.
You must not:
misuse, interfere with or attempt to gain unauthorised access to the website or its systems;
introduce malicious software, viruses or other harmful material;
reproduce or commercially exploit website content without our permission;
use information from our website in a misleading, unlawful or fraudulent manner; or
place fraudulent orders or bookings.
We reserve the right to restrict or terminate access to our website where we reasonably believe these Terms have been breached.
3. Product Information
We take reasonable care to ensure that product descriptions, photographs, ingredients, sizes, prices and other information displayed on our website are accurate.
However, because many Rewild products are produced in small batches and may contain natural or naturally derived ingredients, minor variations in colour, scent, appearance, texture or consistency may occur between batches. These natural variations do not necessarily indicate a product defect.
Packaging, labels or presentation may also be updated from time to time as we continue to improve our products and packaging.
Images on the website are intended to represent our products as accurately as reasonably possible, but colours and appearance may vary depending on your screen or device.
If a material change is made to a product formulation, we will endeavour to update the relevant product information accordingly.
4. Rewild Personal-Care Products
Rewild personal-care products are intended for their stated cosmetic or personal-care use unless expressly indicated otherwise.
Product descriptions and information provided on our website are intended for general informational purposes and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any medical condition.
Individual skin, hair and body responses can vary.
Where appropriate, we recommend carrying out a small patch test before first use, particularly if you have sensitive skin or known sensitivities to botanical ingredients, essential oils or fragrances.
Please review the ingredient information provided before use. If you have known allergies, medical concerns, are pregnant or breastfeeding, or are uncertain whether a product is suitable for you, seek appropriate professional advice before use.
Unless otherwise indicated:
products are for external use only;
avoid contact with the eyes;
keep products out of reach of young children;
discontinue use if irritation or an adverse reaction occurs; and
follow the storage and usage instructions provided with the product.
Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you may have under applicable consumer protection laws.
5. Orders
When you place an order through our website, you are making an offer to purchase the selected products.
After your order is submitted, you may receive an acknowledgement or confirmation by email. An automated acknowledgement does not necessarily mean that we have accepted the order.
We reserve the right to decline or cancel an order where, for example:
a product is unavailable;
there is an obvious pricing or product-description error;
payment cannot be processed;
we suspect fraudulent or unauthorised activity; or
we are unable to fulfil the order for reasons beyond our reasonable control.
If payment has already been collected for an order that we subsequently cancel, the amount paid for the cancelled item or order will be refunded through the original payment method where reasonably possible.
6. Prices and Payment
Prices displayed on the website are in Singapore Dollars (SGD) unless otherwise stated.
Applicable delivery charges, taxes or other fees will be shown before you complete your purchase where applicable.
We reserve the right to change prices at any time. Price changes will not normally affect orders that have already been accepted.
Payment must be made using one of the payment methods available at checkout.
Orders and bookings are confirmed only when any required payment has been successfully received.
7. Promotions, Discount Codes and Gift Offers
Promotions, discount codes, bundles, gifts with purchase and special offers may be subject to additional conditions stated at the time of the promotion.
Unless otherwise stated:
promotions cannot be exchanged for cash;
promotional codes cannot be combined;
promotional discounts apply only during the stated promotional period;
discounts cannot normally be applied retrospectively to completed orders; and
promotional items are subject to availability.
We reserve the right to withdraw or amend a promotion where there is an error, misuse, fraud or other reasonable basis for doing so.
8. Delivery and Collection
Available delivery or collection options and applicable charges will be displayed during checkout.
Estimated delivery periods are provided as a guide only and may be affected by couriers, peak periods, weather, customs procedures or circumstances outside our reasonable control.
Please ensure that your delivery address and contact information are correct before submitting your order.
We are not responsible for delays or failed deliveries caused by incorrect or incomplete information provided by the customer, although we will endeavour to assist where reasonably possible.
For international orders, customers are responsible for checking whether products may legally be imported into their destination country. Any applicable customs duties, import taxes or local charges are the customer’s responsibility unless stated otherwise at checkout.
9. Returns, Exchanges and Incorrect or Damaged Products
Because personal-care products may be affected by hygiene, safety and storage considerations, we generally cannot accept returns or exchanges simply because a customer has changed their mind once a product has been opened, used or its protective packaging or seal has been removed.
If you receive an item that is:
damaged in transit;
incorrect;
materially different from what you ordered; or
defective or otherwise non-conforming,
Please contact us at shop@thewildswells.com within 5 days of receiving your order, where reasonably possible, and provide your order number together with photographs or other relevant information.
We will assess the matter and, where appropriate, arrange a replacement, repair, refund, credit or other remedy.
Nothing in this returns policy excludes or restricts any statutory rights or remedies available to you under Singapore law.
10. Workshop, Activity and Event Bookings
Bookings for The Wild Swells workshops, programmes, activities and events are subject to availability.
A place is considered confirmed once the required booking information and payment have been received and confirmation has been issued.
The details of each session, including date, time, venue, duration, age requirements, equipment and any special requirements, will be stated on the relevant booking page or booking confirmation.
Participants are responsible for reviewing these requirements before making a booking.
11. Participant Requirements
For certain workshops or activities, participants may need to meet specified age, fitness, swimming, mobility, safety or other participation requirements.
Where an activity has specific requirements, these will be communicated before participation.
Participants must:
follow reasonable safety instructions given by The Wild Swells instructors, facilitators or representatives;
use equipment responsibly;
behave in a manner that does not endanger themselves or others;
inform us of relevant information reasonably necessary for safe participation; and
refrain from participating while under the influence of alcohol, recreational drugs or any substance that may impair their ability to participate safely.
For participants below the applicable age of consent, a parent or legal guardian may be required to make the booking, provide consent and/or accompany the participant, depending on the activity.
We reserve the right to prevent or discontinue a person’s participation where we reasonably believe participation would create a safety risk to that individual, other participants, our team or members of the public.
12. Outdoor and Water-Based Activities
Some The Wild Swells activities may take place outdoors, at the beach, around waterways or on the sea.
These environments are naturally variable and may involve risks associated with, among other things, weather, waves, currents, tides, marine environments, uneven surfaces, heat, sun exposure and the use of water-sports or outdoor equipment.
Participants are expected to follow all safety briefings and instructions provided before and during an activity.
Activity routes, locations, duration or format may be altered where reasonably necessary because of environmental, weather, safety or operational conditions.
Safety will take priority over completing a planned route or programme.
13. Workshop and Activity Cancellations by Participants
Unless a different cancellation policy is stated on the relevant booking page, the following policy applies:
Cancellation 7 days or more before the session:
You may request a transfer to another available session or a refund of the session fee.
Cancellation between 72 hours and 7 days before the session:
You may request a transfer or credit towards another eligible session, subject to availability.
Cancellation less than 72 hours before the session or failure to attend:
The booking is generally non-refundable because resources, materials, staffing and places may already have been committed.
We understand that unexpected circumstances happen and may consider exceptional cases at our discretion.
Bookings may be transferred to another person where permitted by the nature of the session and where you notify us before the activity.
14. Cancellation or Changes by The Wild Swells
We may need to cancel, postpone, relocate, shorten or modify a workshop or activity because of:
unsafe weather or sea conditions;
government or authority advisories;
instructor or facilitator unavailability;
insufficient participant numbers;
venue or equipment issues;
safety considerations; or
circumstances outside our reasonable control.
For outdoor or water-based activities, weather conditions may change rapidly. The final decision regarding whether an activity can safely proceed may therefore be made close to the scheduled start time.
If we cancel an activity and cannot offer a suitable replacement date, participants will normally be offered a refund, credit or transfer for the affected booking.
We are not responsible for unrelated expenses incurred by participants, such as transport, accommodation or other personal arrangements, except where required by applicable law.
15. Late Arrival
Participants should arrive at the time stated in their booking confirmation.
Safety briefings may form an essential part of certain activities. Participants who arrive after a required safety briefing has begun or concluded may not be permitted to participate.
Where participation cannot reasonably or safely be accommodated due to late arrival, the booking may be treated as a late cancellation or no-show.
16. Assumption of Ordinary Activity Risks
By choosing to participate in an activity, you acknowledge that some workshops, outdoor programmes and recreational activities involve inherent risks that cannot be entirely eliminated even when reasonable safety measures are taken.
You agree to follow safety instructions and take reasonable responsibility for your own actions during the activity.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude or restrict liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted, including liability for death or personal injury resulting from negligence where such exclusion is prohibited by law.
17. Personal Belongings
Participants are responsible for their own belongings during workshops, events and activities.
Where lockers, storage areas or similar facilities are provided, they are provided for convenience and do not constitute a guarantee against loss, theft or damage.
To the extent permitted by law, The Wild Swells is not responsible for loss of or damage to personal property unless caused by our negligence or other circumstances for which liability cannot lawfully be excluded.
18. Photography, Video and Media
We may occasionally photograph or film our workshops, events or activities for documentation, educational, promotional or social-media purposes.
Where identifiable participants are involved, we will seek consent where required or appropriate.
Where consent has not been provided, we will take reasonable steps not to use identifiable images of that participant for promotional purposes.
Additional consent may be required for children or minors.
If you have questions or concerns regarding photography or filming at an activity, please speak to a member of The Wild Swells team.
19. Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise stated, all content on The Wild Swells website is owned by or licensed to The Wild Swells.
This includes, without limitation:
The Wild Swells and Rewild names and branding;
logos;
photographs;
illustrations;
product names;
written content;
graphics;
workshop materials;
educational resources;
designs; and
website content.
Content may not be copied, reproduced, distributed, modified, commercially exploited or used to create derivative materials without our prior written permission, except where permitted by law.
Workshop materials provided to participants are intended for personal and educational use unless otherwise stated.
20. Third-Party Services and Links
Our website may contain links to external websites or use third-party services such as payment processors, delivery providers, booking platforms or social-media platforms.
These third parties operate under their own terms and privacy policies.
We are not responsible for the content, security, availability or practices of third-party websites or services that are outside our control.
21. Personal Data and Privacy
When you place an order, make a booking, subscribe to communications or otherwise interact with us, we may collect and process personal information necessary to provide our products and services.
Our handling of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy, which should be read together with these Terms.
Where marketing communications are offered, you may unsubscribe or withdraw the relevant consent through the method provided in the communication or by contacting us.
22. Website Availability
We endeavour to keep our website available and functioning correctly, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access.
We may temporarily suspend, modify or discontinue portions of the website for maintenance, security, technical or operational reasons.
23. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, The Wild Swells will not be liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising solely from use of the website, products or services where such liability may lawfully be excluded.
Any limitation or exclusion of liability in these Terms applies only to the extent permitted by law.
Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or limits any liability or consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted or limited.
24. Force Majeure and Events Beyond Our Reasonable Control
We will not be responsible for delay or failure to perform an obligation where the delay or failure results from circumstances reasonably beyond our control.
These circumstances may include severe weather, natural disasters, public-health emergencies, government restrictions, transportation disruption, courier disruption, internet or telecommunications outages, venue closures or similar events.
Where such an event affects an order, booking or activity, we will take reasonable steps to communicate with affected customers and determine an appropriate course of action.
25. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes to our products, services, website, business practices or applicable requirements.
The latest version will be published on this page with the date of the most recent update.
The Terms applicable to a particular purchase or booking will generally be those in effect at the time the order or booking was made.
26. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, unlawful or unenforceable, that provision will be interpreted or limited to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will continue in effect.
27. No Waiver
If we do not immediately enforce a provision of these Terms, this does not mean that we have waived our right to enforce it later.
28. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore.
Subject to any rights available to consumers under applicable law, disputes arising from or relating to these Terms, our products or our services will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore.
Before commencing formal proceedings, we encourage customers to contact us so that we can attempt to resolve the matter fairly and reasonably.
